Recommendation Letter

To whom it may concern:

Dean of Economic Department at Central University for Nationalities, I once taught Miss Shara Ha international finance and directed her graduation thesis. Through close class contact, I have found her to be a rarely excellent student, which can explain my pleasure in writing this letter.

In academic performance, she excelled most of her peers thanks to her assiduous and aggressive learning attitude combined with her efficient methods. She consecutively won scholarship several times with an average score of 90 ranking 1st in her class. Upon graduation, she was one of the three top students in the whole department. All these had won her unanimous acclamation and appreciation of her teachers and fellow students. When teaching her international finance, I was deeply impressed by her breadth of knowledge in this field. Having mastered the textbooks, she turned her eyes upon more advanced and hard materials. The National Library is located quite near to our university, and she‘s a frequent reader there, which had facilitated her to access the best references and masterpieces in financial field. Moreover, she also kept a close watch on the latest economic issues and academic research findings by reading many economics related periodicals she subscribed to. This good habit of reading, especially of the financial and economic materials in original English version has made her well conscious of the need to study abroad to study economy and finance in their real taste.

Quite interested in the economic crisis in Southeast Asia, she often brought up her own point of views, which were outcomes of mature analytical thinking based on her close observation and her solid theoretical foundation. Her active participation in the discussing class had also demonstrated her capability of logical thinking with a final score of 90, which also won her a title of the Best Debater in the campus debates representing her department.

Miss Ha was conscientious and responsible in completing her tasks of all kinds. When being an organizer of a mock stock market, she volunteered to take the most time and energy-consuming role to train the "stockholders" to master the basic knowledge of stock market and the staff to draw stock diagrams and operate computers. This activity had not only enabled the students to learn how a stock market ran but also stimulated or strengthened their interest in financial field.
